Producer For Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Celebratory Drama Revealed

Last year, a celebratory drama titled "An Adventure in Space and Time" was commissioned by the BBC. It would be a special 90-minute program that "explores the creation of the show in 1963" and takes a look at all the elements that were involved in bringing the show to life.

Last Saturday, it was revealed that the producer for this program will be Matt Strevens, who was a script editor for EastEnders, The Bill, Raw, and Skins. He's also produced the show the Sci-Fi Comedic Drama, Misfits.

On his Twitter he also stated that the production will be written by Mark Gatiss, who is known as the writer for several Doctor Who episodes. These include, Night Terrors, The Idiots Lantern, and Victory of the Daleks.

The production is expected to begin at the start of February.
