It is with the deepest regret that The Gallifrey Times have to report that the man who designed the Daleks, Ray Cusick, has died aged 84 after a short illness.His daughter, Claire Heawood, confirmed that he died of a heart failure in his sleep on Thursday.
As you will know, The Daleks have become a iconic monster in Doctor Who and Ray will be greatly missed.
