50th Anniversary Special Begins Shooting This March

The new issue of Doctor Who Magazine has revealed that the upcoming 50th Anniversary Special will begin filming a little earlier than expected.

The Special will begin filming on Monday 18 March - just twelve days away at the time of writing. Executive producer Caroline Skinner said this of the Special:
“Marcus Wilson and I spend most of our time saying to one another: ‘Oh, good God, Steven Moffat’s imagination is AMBITIOUS.’ ‘Wow, we’ve got a lot of work to do.’ ‘And how exactly are we going to do that?’ ‘And that?’ ‘And, oooh, that?!’ But more succinctly, and in just four words: ‘It. Will. Be. Big.’”
Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary Special will be directed by Nick Hurran, and will air on BBC One in optional 3D this November.
