An Adventure in Space and Time Concludes Filming

Over the past month, we've been treated to a non-stop stream of news from the increasingly-exciting drama about the origins of Doctor Who, An Adventure in Space and Time, from castings of old cast and crew, to recreations of the original TARDIS interior and the Dalek invasion of Earth.

Sadly, the adventure came to an end yesterday as the drama wrapped filming. Mark Gatiss, writer of the drama, tweeted this, accompanied by a photo of the TARDIS exterior:
Sadly, the end of the Adventure. But it's far from being all over...

Matt Strevens, producer of the drama, tweeted:
So that's a wrap. It's off down the pub if someone will let me out of this box. Goodbye AAISAT it's been special.
An exchange on Twitter between producer Matt Strevens and actor Natasha O'Keeffe also revealed that the making of the iconic TARDIS materialization sound will feature in the drama.

An Adventure in Space and Time will air in November on BBC Two.
