Robert Banks Stewart, writer of well known Doctor Who stories Terror of the Zygons and The Seeds of Doom, has recently told Digital Spy that more monsters are expected to appear in the show's 50th Anniversary than just the Zygons.
He spoke to Digital Spy about the special:
“The Zygons are in there with all the others – particularly the Daleks and the Cybermen,”
“Nobody yet knows what the plot of the 50th will be – Steven Moffat and his team in Cardiff, they are quite rightly keeping it all secret.”
Robert Banks Stewart also talked to Digital Spy about his personal opinion on the maturity of the show:
“My own personal opinion is that the modern Doctor Who should be aimed more at children. People very fondly remembered being scared by Doctor Who – now the plots seem to me a little too adult.”The 50th Anniversary special is to air in November this year.
