Doctor Who: Visual Effects Studio Milk to Work On The Show

Visual effects studio The Mill closed down this March, after creating visual effects for Doctor Who, among several other TV shows and movies - so the question of who would take over from The Mill has remained unanswered... until now.

A new studio, Milk has been created from the creative time of The Mill, with the CEO being well-known face Will Cohen (as seen in several episodes of Doctor Who Confidential). Cohen stated:
Milk aims to be the most sought after visual effects team in what we believe is blossoming into a thriving industry for high-end TV visual effects. Our new venture is timed to enable us to capitalise on the new tax breaks in the UK as we expect to see an influx of TV work, as well as continued feature film work, coming to London over the next few months and beyond.
Milk will begin work on Doctor Who's 3D 50th anniversary special soon (as well as several other projects including series three of Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss' Sherlock).

Milk's website can be viewed here - it has not been fully built yet, but a showreel can be seen, which includes several clips from Doctor Who.
