Doctor Who 2014 World Cup: The Final

Welcome back, for the last time, to the Doctor Who 2014 World Cup! Last week's third place playoff was a close head-to-head - and the results will be revealed next week!

After three months, several rounds and over 10,000 overall votes cast, we've made it to the final of the World Cup. From the 86 stories that began the competition back in the qualifiers, you, the voters, have narrowed it down to just two - Series 3 Weeping Angel tale Blink, and 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor.  Today, voting kicks off for the World Cup final! The most voted for story will win the Doctor Who 2014 World Cup.

The final two stories have made it through every round with flying colours - some matches may have been close, but these stories have won comprehensively in each round against fan favourite opposition - so choose your votes carefully! You can vote for one of the two stories here.

Voting closes on Friday 16th May, so get your votes in before then! This is the final round of the World Cup, but we'll wrap up the competition with a special post next Saturday, announcing the winner of the World Cup, plus the results of the third place playoff. Will it be Blink, or The Day of the Doctor?
