Doctor Who: Capaldi's First Episodes 'Thrill' BBC?

Peter Capaldi's first series as the Twelfth Doctor is halfway through filming now - and the executives at the BBC are reportedly delighted with Capaldi's first few episodes - five of which have been apparently completed, claim the Radio Times.

A source from the BBC reportedly states:
"He is his own man – very distinctive. He is the oldest Doctor and there is a sense he is more distanced from his assistant, more of a mystery He is perhaps less a mate, and someone she looks up to. She has to try and gauge him – but dramatically it’s very satisfying and onscreen they work very well together.”
“He will make one of the best Doctors ever. There is a real buzz about this Doctor. And of course the monsters are great.”
The reputed source also claims that the chemistry between Capaldi and Jenna Coleman is 'sizzling', and the Twelfth Doctor is a Jon Pertwee-esque Doctor, but 'for the modern age'.

What do you think of the apparent comments (which are not confirmed and should not be taken as official)? Are you looking forward to seeing Capaldi? Comment below!
