Opinion Piece: Steven Moffat Staying For Series 9 - Good or Bad?

As recently stated in Doctor Who Magazine, Steven Moffat is to remain head writer and executive producer for at least one more year.
"Sitting here, right now, just before the [series eight] finale shooting block, I've figured out the cliffhanger to the penultimate episode of the next series. And it's a whopper. Oh, I don't think you'll see this coming!"
As a fan of Steven Moffat and his writing, I was more than happy to discover his announcement of staying with the show, even if it is for only a short time more. Episodes like The Angels Take Manhattan, The Girl in the Fireplace, and Blink make you think and wonder upon certain concepts of time, space, and history. Moffat fabricates scripts so that they do make you think and feel. His words are so precisely placed so that they may result in emotions of happiness, sadness, anger, confusion, and more.

If a writer can get an audience to believe the story they write, they are portraying the qualities of a great writer. Steven Moffat can do just that, and I believe there is many a good story to come out of him yet for our beloved Doctor.
