The live concert is a celebration of all things Doctor Who, featuring Murray Gold's captivating music accompanied by specially edited video sequences from the past 50 years of the show. Music will be performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and members of the BBC National Chorus of Wales, both conducted by Ben Foster.

A host of live monsters will be let loose inside the venues, as previous shows have included the iconic Daleks and Cybermen, the spine-chilling Silence and many more of the Doctor's most popular adversaries. The live monsters provide a dramatic counterpoint to the evocative and thrilling music written by Murray Gold, responsible for the last eight years of epic Doctor Who music including the record-breaking (and BAFTA award-winning) 50th anniversary episode The Day of the Doctor.
The show will also feature Murray's latest score and footage from the forthcoming series, which will be broadcast around the world on August 23rd.
Guest presenters will be announced in early 2015, and in past shows have included Alex Kingston, Peter Davison and Mark Williams, so audiences will be able to expect some familiar faces during the show.
Readers who wish to purchase a ticket can do so with an exclusive fan presale opening at 10am on Wednesday 30th July through the SEE Tickets website. Tickets are from £23 per person and various merchandise packages are also available.
