London Film & Comic Con: Convention Report

This weekend saw this year's London Film & Comic Con at Earls Court - and for the first time, I took the trip up to London for my first LFCC.

The con had some extremely high-profile guests, including Jenna Coleman, John Hurt, Paul McGann, Colin Baker, Jemma Redgrave, Bernard Cribbins and more - and while I didn't go close to meeting all of the guests despite seeing a couple of them briefly from their autograph tables (I can confirm they are real people), I did manage to get a brief photo with the lovely Jenna!

Apart from guests, the Doctor Who presence at the convention was strong with a giant red Dalek, two Doctor Who talks featuring a surprise appearance from Steven Moffat and plenty of Doctor Who merchandise on offer. Outside of Doctor Who, the official 221B Baker Street set from Steven Moffat & Mark Gatiss' Sherlock was on display - and you can check out photos of the con including 221B on our Twitter account (@GallifreyTimes)!

Overall, LFCC was a great experience - with a stellar guest list, plenty of merchandise to buy and talks from some of the show's biggest stars, it's earned its spot as one of the best conventions for Doctor Who in the UK.
