Doctor Who: Kill the Moon - Overnight UK Viewing Figures

The overnight UK viewing figures for last night's episode, Kill the Moon, have been released.

The episode had 4.82 million viewers on average and a share of 21.5% of the overall TV audience - that's a slight drop on The Caretaker's figures, but remains a consistent figure from recent weeks. The episode once again aired in a later slot, and clashed completely with The X Factor.

Doctor Who was the third most watched programme of the day, behind Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor.

The consolidated viewing figures will be released next week, where Doctor Who will rise considerably in the ratings.
