Doctor Who: Mummy on the Orient Express - Poll Results

For the past week you've been voting in our two polls for Mummy on the Orient Express - our 'rate the episode' poll and our Question of the Week poll. We've now closed both polls and you can view the results below:

First up, our rate the episode poll. After last week's heavily divided response (view Kill the Moon's results here), it was a far more positive response here, with over half of the voters voting 5/5:
  • Absolutely amazing - 54.79%
  • Very good - 39.73%
  • OK - 2.74%
  • Not too great - 2.74%
  • Awful - 0%
You can see the updated Series 8 leaderboard below, showing the average scores for each poll - we'll be continuing to update it weekly to show your favourite episodes of the series so far. Mummy on the Orient Express came out at number two, just behind poll topper Listen:
  1. Listen - Average of 4.54/5*
  2. Mummy on the Orient Express - Average of 4.47/5
  3. Deep Breath - Average of 4.20/5
  4. The Caretaker - Average of 4.0/5
  5. Time Heist - Average of 3.96/5
  6. Into the Dalek - Average of 3.87/5
  7. Robot of Sherwood - Average of 3.66/5
  8. Kill the Moon - Average of 3.53/5
*Average scores were previously done to one decimal place - after Listen and Mummy drew to one decimal place, all the scores have now been done to two decimal places.

Mummy on the Orient Express' Question of the Week asked 'Is the Twelfth Doctor heartless?'. Is this new Doctor really as cold and emotionless as he says, or is he still the same old warm Doctor we knew - or can he be both? TGT voters were in favour of the new Doctor, with very few votes outright stating 'yes' and the majority voting 'no':
  • Yes - He no longer cares about those who die - 6.19%
  • No - He cares for Clara and still saves humanity - 57.73%
  • Unsure - He can be both heartless and sympathetic - 36.08%
We'll have a rate the episode poll for Flatline up straight after the episode tonight at 9.10pm, with our Question of the Week coming tomorrow.
