Doctor Who Nominated In BAFTA Cymru Awards

Doctor Who has received five nominations in this year's British Academy Cymru Awards, which honour excellence in broadcasting and production in film and television in Wales.

Peter Capaldi features in the Actor category for his performance in Dark Water, whilst co-star Jenna Coleman receives her Actress nomination for her performance in Kill The Moon.

The show is also up for three technical awards - Editing (Will Oswald, Dark Water), Special and Visual Effects (Last Christmas) and Titles and Graphic Identity for Doctor Who's revamped titles sequence first introduced in the Series 8 opening episode Deep Breath.
